Max’s Mosaics is a concept years in the making. Max has been refining his LEGO® mosaic style, proving a mastery of textured foliage and scaled architectural modeling. The recent incorporation of acrylic paint in collaboration with Jake Riegel has lead to the development of a unique, mixed media approach to large scale installations. We are committed to delivering high quality artistic visions in this medium, and we plan to produce more collaborative pieces for local businesses and events. Meet the team, and commission your artistic vision today!

Background

Max Fudal

Max has been building with LEGO® since the age of six, and it forever transformed the way he looked at the world. He always had an interest in structures, and that led him to pursue a career in Architecture. After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon in 2024, Max has been searching for ways to integrate his education with his passion for LEGO®. Fundamentally, he believes that architects are hard workers, problem solvers, collaborators, and dreamers before designers. He brings that learned philosophy, creativity, and work ethic with him in every creative endeavor.

Jake Riegel

Jake has been drawing since he was a kid, using art as a way to process ideas and emotions. Each year, he and his grandparents exchange handmade art pieces, which instills the importance of producing and sharing works of art in all forms. Jake works as a nurse full time, and he found drawing to be a way to study both anatomy and process stress from his heroic work in hospice care. Jake is inspired by the world around him, nature, and his cat, Ed. To meet Ed and to check out more of Jake’s amazing work, click here!
